I just read this article at:
http://news.yahoo.com/s/infoworld/20080529/tc_infoworld/102375

on how Google search is expanding into cross-language translation, book-searching, and into devices such as phones and cars.

"Big Brother" Google will soon have the ability to track the GPS location of a user and provide useful information stitch from Google maps, images, videos, search results and other data. And Google aims to make this work across multiple languages!

Is this a boon or a bane with even greater loss of privacy?

Nothing relieves the monotony of a job like finding ways to improve it. - Anonymous

The best time to fix the roof is when the sun is shining. - John F. Kennedy

Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip the citizenry into a patriotic fervor, for patriotism is indeed a double-edged sword. It both emboldens the blood, just as it narrows the mind...And when the drums of war have reached a fever pitch and the blood boils with hate and the mind has closed, the leader will have no need in seizing the rights of the citizenry. Rather, the citizenry, infused with fear and blinded with patriotism, will offer up all of their rights unto the leader, and gladly so. How do I know? For this is what I have done. And I am Caesar. - William Shakespeare
